The Opportunity:

We are hiring Manufacturing Technicians for onsite roles to produce innovative bio-therapeutic medicine by interfacing with highly automated production systems and controls in a cGMP manufacturing environment. The individual will work in either Upstream, or Downstream Operations and will be required to work in and maintain a clean room environment. Area of work must remain in a high state of inspection readiness at all times. In addition, this individual will maintain business systems for inventory and process management, and maintain records to comply with regulatory requirements utilizing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

What you'll do:

  • Follow established safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.

  • Operate systems that clean and sterilize tanks and filtration systems.

  • Prepare materials for the production process.

  • Exhibit detail-oriented documentation skills to ensure Right-First-Time operations Troubleshoot and/or escalate process issues as necessary to ensure the resolution

  • Comply with cGMP, SOP, and manufacturing documentation.

  • Use automation to perform production and equipment operations.

  • Train other technicians in group and individual settings

Who you are:

  • High School Diploma required; AS/BS/BA preferred (Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Engineering) or a combination of college coursework, a Biotech certificate from an approved program or related work experience.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • The ability to read and understand engineering documents is desirable

  • Experience in the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures desirable.

  • Flexible to work any 12hr shift; Days or Nights

Levels Available:

  • Manufacturing Technician (1-3 years related experience)

Work Environment/Physical Demands/Safety Considerations:

  • This is a physical job in a 24x7 manufacturing environment. You will work 12hr shifts: Front-Half (Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wed) or Back-Half (Thursday through Saturday, every other Wednesday), Days/Night (6:00 to 18:00 or 18:00 to 6:00)

  • Ability to lift 40lbs, routinely climb stairs, and be on your feet 90% of the day.

  • Lab coats, scrubs, PPE's are provided when required

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $25/hour - $27.50/hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

This position is not eligible for relocation.
