Position Summary

The Associate Technical Trainer conducts technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products. Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Works with engineering, technical support, and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. Follows up to determine applicability of course material.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with senior trainers to support training needs.
  • Act as a liaison and represent the technical training team in new product reviews, builds, and approvals.
  • Lead live in-person training and web-based training sessions for both internal and external clients.
  • Research and apply emerging technology and concepts to educational initiatives.
  • Ability to actively teach and support all training modules within the product lines via the above-mentioned delivery techniques, with minimal supervision.
  • Remains informed of new products and services.Some content development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience of dedicated training, teaching, or related experience.
  • Casino operations and gaming experience a plus.
  • Valid gaming card and/or the ability to obtain required jurisdictional licenses.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, as required by law.
